Repeat voting

Dear Colleagues,

The game theorist Sergiu Hart recently has proposed the idea of voting done in two rounds where before the second round is carried out the voters know the results of the first round for long enough to think through the implications. The idea is that people who perhaps did not realize the "balance" in views on the issues would have a better "information set" after the first vote.
