Algorithms from the "Book"

Postby Joseph Malkevitch » Mon Sep 25, 2017 2:35 pm

Dear Colleagues,

The late Paul Erdos referred to a "Book" where all the slickest proofs of appealing theorems appeared. This web page on the Theoretical Computer Science Stackexchange page has a "ranked" list of algorithms that might constitute a "Book" for algorithms. Often the mathematics these algorithms deals with is very appealing, and/or the design of the algorithms furthers the study of the mathematics that the algorithms entail.
