Uber in London

Postby Joseph Malkevitch » Sun Oct 08, 2017 1:54 pm

Dear Colleagues,

The issue of transportation in large cities has been changed dramatically by the widespread use of cell phones. A variety of fairness and modeling questions arise concerning the transportation systems in such cities due to the rapid increase in the utilization of services such as those provided by Uber (and perhaps allied companies you did not realize were there). Here is an interesting article about what happened in London, that lead to not renewing some licenses involving Uber.
