Euler's impact on Riemann

Dear Colleagues,

Most mathematics is built on ideas from earlier scholars. No one doubts the importance of Euler in the history of mathematics but one does not always think of his work as influencing Riemann in particular. Here is a look at ways in which what interested Riemann has its roots with Euler.
