Dear Colleagues,

Though I call myself a geometer I have never been that good at visualizing things in 3-dimensional space, which is why I prefer planar 3-connected graphs as a way of "visualizing" convex polyhedra rather than hidden line drawings. Here is an article which raises this issue in a gender context but I think the issue is more general:
